Nancy Winkler
Concentration: Nancy, a partner in the firm, concentrates her practice in personal injury litigation. She represents clients injured as a result of automobile accidents, falls, defective products, toxic exposure and professional negligence. She co-authored a book entitled, “Pennsylvania Automobile Litigation: Guidelines and Forms for the Trial Lawyer; 3rd Edition.
Experience: Nancy is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She manages the firm’s New Jersey practice and handles cases in both states. Nancy is frequently invited to lecture for various groups and organizations including lawyers, doctors, nurses and healthcare workers, and has written articles and seminar materials on topics including civil litigation and automobile law. In 2002, she was the recipient of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s President’s Award. She has been selected as a Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine. This distinction is limited to only 5% of the legal community in Pennsylvania.
Nancy is also active in the Philadelphia Bar Association. She was appointed co-chair of the Medical-Legal Committee for 2004 and investigates judicial candidates for the Commission for Judicial Selection and Retention. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Robins’ Nest Children’s Services, and is on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Brain Injury Association where she chairs the Fund Raising Committee.
Education: Nancy attended the Honors Program at Temple University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in English and Economics. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law, with an award for excellence in Civil Trial Advocacy.
Membership: Nancy is the 2006 Treasurer of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. She is a member of local and state bar associations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
